Also, after Ohio's BP deer season, I'll try out the BH209. Will also experiment with the Rem Premier STS shotgun primer as I've got a couple cards of them.
Per the wording on the primer box:
The STS's were designed for more positive ign., even with smaller grained and hard -to- ignite powders....We'll see.
Also, They are also made of Kleanbore non-mercuric, non corrosive priming mix....
I've used them with 777 and AP and like the way the fire channels in the nipple and breech plug don't get plugged as much as some of the other primers I've used.
