blackhawk

old fart

i thought it was ati but instead its the blackhawk brand that is at wal mart. i've had a thread on here about hiking with my shotgun as its my only gun for now, but the regular stock is quite heavy and i was looking at making it lighter. i found a blackhawk 6 position stock with forarm at wal mart, i picked up the package and it is lighter than just my buttstock. are these good?, and are they ok to use slugs through? trying to make my gun as light as possible but still keep it usable, a pistol grip only does make it alot lighter but hard to hit with. so does anyone know about these? thanks

It's the 6 position stock and it's making it difficult to shoot accurately? That's not making sense to me....? Are you shouldering the gun as you would with the regular stock or just hip firing?

Blackhawk products are good quality to answer that question; they'll be fine with slugs.

i had a hogue pistol grip on it before and i had a hard time hitting targets past 20yds, it was comfortable tho. this new set made by blackhawk at my local wal mart, i was thinking about getting. i wanted some input cause i know nothing about them. it is the blackhawk specops adjustable stock and forend kit. thanks

what kind of shotgun is it?
i got a recoil reduction stock for my moss500 it came with the forend the stock is 6 position and has a inner spring that absorbs the recoil...love it
it is made by Phoenix technology

That is supposed to be a good one if it is what you are after. Do you need an adjustable stock with a recoil absorbing mechanism or would you rather have a regular stock? If a regular stock fits and you don't need the recoil absorbing mechanism, I would go with a regular old stock. (Your priority seems to be to reduce weight. Which is lighter?)

i am not sure what he is talking about, i haven't checked at wal-mart i was just offering an option. i got mine at www.cheaperthandirt.com but I'm sure you could find it elsewhere. i have back issues and I'm an old fart too and it helps greatly. sure that one cost more than the blackhawk but to me it was worth it.:)

anybody know what kind of shotgun it is?
