Blackhawk/Super Blackhawk trigger work

I recently acquired a Super Blackhawk Bisley .44 Mag and a Bisley Hunter .44 Mag. Both are very accurate revolvers and I have to say I am really enjoying shooting these single action revolvers. My .357 Blackhawk got me hooked!!!!!!!!

My question concerns trigger work. Is it possible to remove the slight creep that seem to be inherently "built-in" on these Rugers? Is it possible to work on these enough to remove all creep and just have them break clean?.....maybe the better question is, has anyone here done work or had work done to their single action Rugers and get a crisp break on the trigger?

Thanks for your help

Try this:

Only remove the spring from one side...if you remove both, it will make the trigger so light that you can set it off by breathing wrong! I did mine on just one side and it dropped the pull from around 6 pounds to a hair over 2. Still has a little bit of creep, but the creep does seem to go away more and more with use. Ive got 1000+ rounds through mine and its much better than when it was new...its fairly crisp and has a consitant 2.2 pound break after all the rounds ive fired through it. At least try it...its free and easy to reverse if you dont like it.
