SO since weaver discontinued the 301 clamp onmount, is the onlly option left to pay someone to drill into the top strap or to purchase the hunter model?
I don't know if the company is still around or not but there was a company called "B-Square" that also did "no-drill scope mounts for a lot of guns. you might check to see if they are still in business or look at gun shows
