Blackhawk .357 owners

If I understand your problem correctly
The ejecter rod wont enter a hot cylinder to eject a spent case ?
After it has cooled for a few minutes It will function as should ?

I would try replaceing the ejecter rod and housing and spring
possibly a slightly bent ejecter rod ?

It is posible that a prevouis owner had the screw come loose and the whole thing fell off and it was then replaced .
