I would have to go with Black T, vs. the 'painted' finishes.
I had a P220 done in the 'T', and while I thought it may be on the soft side, it stood up to hoster wear in an SSIII duty rig. I've recently learned of some of the downsides to today's popular sprayed on coatings. At least the 'T' process penetrates the pores of the metal.
What is your application, range gun, or CCW? A range gun will not be exposed to the wear and tear of one that is holstered daily. That should be one of your determining factors, other than the obvious differences in features between the two pistols.
