Bit the bullet and ordered a CZ-452 Trainer today,,,

Last month I decided that I wanted to own one more .22 rifle,,,
I decided (after a lot of looking at different rifles) that the CZ-452 Trainer was it,,,
I justified my decision by saying I would give my Henry AccuBolt to my 14 year old nephew.

Unfortunately after making the decision I couldn't find a new one anywhere,,,
I had almost given up hope of being able to locate one to buy.

But this morning I got an E-mail notification from Buds Gun Shop,,,
They received some new stock and this time I didn't hesitate,,,
I whipped out the trusty Discover card and ordered one.

I'm very excited. :D

I had one and it was a great rifle (it was right handed and I am left so I sold it). Nice smooth bolt.

But I found it really hard to mount optics and quickly stopped lol.

The open sights are plenty good

Hello Drummer 101,,,

Funny you should mention that,,,
This is the one rifle I had planned to not mount a scope on.

I have a nice H&R .22 LR Sportster that I have scoped,,,
It's the rifle I use on the rare occasion I hunt.

I also have a Mossberg 702 Plinkster with a scope,,,
This is the one I use when I am terrorizing the tin can population.

I purchased this CZ in the hopes of playing with the rimfire silhouette crowd,,,
They have shoots twice a month at my rifle and pistol club,,,
You can shoot any rimfire you happen to own,,,
But officially it's supposed to be iron sights.

That's the plan anyways,,,
Just some slow leisurely shooting with the boys.
