Anyone out there own a Ruger KGPF-331 .357 magnum 3"? I think it's my next purchase. Can you order one with a bobbed hammer? Why a revo you may ask? Because even my super reliable Glock and Makarov have malfuntioned. I really wanna master the revolver. Any data would be greatly appriciated.
The 3" GPs are really nice. Good balance, and yet not too bulky and heavy for concealment. I don't think you can order a hammer, but Ruger may fit one for you at the factory. However, I think they will only do so if they render the gun double-action only at the same time. You could get any gunsmith to bob the hammer for you, and no doubt spend less than the round-trip shipping to Ruger.
