bisley hammer in a blackhawk hunter

i am looking at putting a bisley half cock hammer set in my blackhawk hunter. what issues will i run into. i believe i will have to alter the transfer bar and there is something i remember about modifying the back of the hammer.

Along time ago I called Ruger about Bisley hammers in my Vaqueros. The lady there told me these would be a drop-in fit so I ordered 2. After filing, trimming and trying 2-3 hours later they did fit. Hardly a drop-in.

Curious, why would you want a half cock hammer on a Ruger?

You have to remove material from the back of the Bisley hammer to clear the hunter frame. You may or may not have to do transfer bar or hammer nose work, depends on the fit.
