My birthday is in October ,s omy present to myself has been placed in lay-a-way [ Tarus 357 669 Revolver ]

Thanks gents , I put it in lay-a-way because my birthday is October 9th , the wife's bithday is October 12th. , she wants a new handgun too. lol
She will be getting her chl soon.
Guess we will start our birthdays off with a bang . lol
This is sort of like my best friend who got his wife a new shotgun for her birthday. She was apathetic and was as excited as someone newly saved at a tent revival. Lets see.... what will I give myself on my next birthday. Best, Lyle
Happy Early Birthday to you sir. I've always purchased something firearms-related for myself each year on my birthday and this year is no exception.
Today is my birthday - and I had already purchased a Walther PPS from a fellow forum member a few weeks ago for myself. Went to shoot it for the first time today and it's a really nice carry piece.
Buying myself a Desert Eagle for my birthday this year. My wife is NOT happy. I told her I'd buy her tires for her, used, on craigslist. She still isn't happy.
Always nice to have anticipation of a new piece, although I'm generally too impatient for layaway. Looking forward to finally picking up a CZ75 before year's end myself.
I enjoy shooting much more in cooler weather and look foward to fall.
I bought my wife a 20 gauge shotgun for her birthday last year. This year she said was saying she wished she could have a something like my SW 686 w/4inch barrel but not as big. I showed her a picture of the 686 w/3 inch barrel. She said she especially liked the wooden grip. Within in a few days we had it. Too bad her birthday isn't til March.
You got that right. I always try to do a little something for myself along those lines. I have to admit, I was thinking that another 1911 might be nice for my birthday at the end of the month.
I also remember how awesome it was when I got my engagement gift... a Kimber 82 Varmint (.22 rifle). Unbelievable walnut... stainless, fluted barrel, super accurate. Awesome...
