Note: This is about both shotguns and rifles, so I'm not sure which sub-forum to post this under.
A gunwriter wrote about a quick way to clean a pump or semi auto's action. He said take the barrel off (if a shotgun), point the gun down over newspaper, then spray Birchwood Casey Gunscrubber in the action, watch the muck run out, and then lightly oil. So I was wondering that if I do this on a gun with nice wood, and get gunscrubber on the wood, would it eat the finish off it.
