biometric gun safe

I am looking for a safe to hold about 20 handguns and a couple of rifles. I would be interested in biometric access (fingerprint), with mechanical backup. Anything out there like that?

Watch the Mythbusters show where they easily defeated those locks with everything from latex to a simple photocopy of a fingerprint, then see if you still want one.

A guy in Japan even defeated one by just taking someone's fingerprint off a surface with a toy kit, then using melted gummi bears for the positive impression.

NOT secure.

Yes, but it's not cheap.

What you're looking for is referred to as a redundant system. If one fails, the other can be used to operate the lock. A basic electronic/mechanical redundant lock (not counting biometrics) would start in the $400 range (not counting installation).
