The day when they have to peel your cold dead fingers from your guns is much closer than we think...

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the 2000 Presidential election:

Number of States won by: Gore: 19; Bush: 29
Square miles of land won by: Gore: 580,000; Bush: 2,427,000 Population of counties won by: Gore: 127 million; Bush: 143 million

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by:
Gore: 13.2; Bush: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Bush won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of this country. Gore's territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned housing and receiving various forms of government welfare..."

Let the denials begin!

Someone's probably gonna say "Snopes" again. Getting tired of hearing about that site and ONLY that site. There has to be another site to back up Snopes. First thing I learned about sources is you need to have more than one to support your hypothesis/thesis.

Tinfoil or otherwise, there is a great deal of truth to the fact that those on the government dole heavily vote democratic.

Pointer, was there a point to your post?

You make a blanket statement and throw out a small factoid (true or not) about an election from 6 years ago. You fail to link your statement to the factoid. You fail to connect either to the title of your thread.

Denials? What Denials? That the election didn't occur? That Gore lost? That Bush won?

Are we supposed to guess at the issue(s) you are thinking of?

Closed for lack of any germane content.
