Big Problem with a Ruger P95

I was given a Ruger P95 that is really messed up. The previous owner removed the hammer spring & strut, the ejector assembly, slide stop, right side safety and the firing pin block assembly. He then tried to assemble the pistol. Now the weapon is assembled without the above parts. The barrel & recoil spring guide are sticking out of the front of the slide about 1/2 inch. The ejection port is "half open" so to speak yet the slide is sitting on the frame in it's normal "closed battery" position. The slide can only be moved approximately 1" to the rear.

I can't figure out how to get the slide off. It's forward progress is being stopped by either the barrel & spring guide or possibly the firing pin block lever. I simply can't tell.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please disregard my previous post. I gently twisted the recoil spring guide to the right and the slide went into battery. However the sear was still keeping the slide from coming off. I removed the left safety lever and depressed the sear and the slide came off!!!
