Big Price difference on Scopes

I was looking to buy a new Simmons 44Mag target scope, 6.5x20-44 with adj. AO and target knobs. I tried one out and liked it very much. So I started looking for one.

Cabela's 239.00
The Outdoor Center 183.99
Then I went to this place

the same scope, 149.95 in stock, shipped the next day.

Big Price difference. If you are lookinf for scopes, shop around, that was a 90 dollar difference!

The Outdoor center does have the 2.5 inch shade attachment for it though! 13.99.........
 
Cabela's has been slowly working their way on to my SH** List.

Their prices aren't that good---they charge you $10 for shipping and then send your purchase in a U.S. Postal Expess package that cost them a $1.66---HUH?? What gives there?? Since I live in NE--I also get stuck with sales tax.

The last time I talked to one of their friendly and helpful customer service reps---I was hung up on---because she was too stupid to answer my questions. A call back to one of the supervisors to report her didn't get much action either. I was calm and polite with both of them.

Cabela's does have a lot of stuff for hunters and such----but it gets me PO-ed---when your making money off shipping on an already overpriced item.

I hate to rip a business in my own state----but your money would be better spend elsewhere.

More and more of my mail order business is going to Midway---SWFA---and CDNN-----I've got good deals and have been treated fairly by all 3 of these-----skip Cabela's and look elsewhere.
