BIG .45 LONGSLIDE THE TERMINATOR USED. WHERE DO I GET ONE AND WHO MADE IT?

Hey guys the title says it all. i think it is a cool looking gun and have always wanted one. Help me out here guys.

I think I had heard somewhere that it was made by AMT....not 100% sure though.

Yep AMT Longslide,now made by Galena arms under the AMT name. www.galenaindustries.com I`ve wanted one ever since Arnold pointed and said ".45 longslide wit laser sighting..." If you do a search you`ll find a bunch of messages about them,almost all bad. Bummer. Marcus

Had a AMT hardballer longslide and had no problems with it.Had to use the right lube on it.

I believe either or both Les Baer or Ed Brown makes one. But they ain't cheap.

I saw a brand new AMT Longslide .45 in a pawn shop for $250, a couple of months ago. But I also have heard bad things about them. Nice looking gun though. You would be much better off going with the Springfield, and it looks better, too.

I have a AMT Hardballer Longslide, pre Galena, that I picked up for about $250 at a show.

My slide is a little looser than my other 45's, but all in all, it is a well made gun. Fairly accurate, as well.

Also gives you one up on the 'mine is bigger than yours' arguments.
