BHP adjustable sight installation

I recently installed an LPA adjustable rear sight on my BHP MK III, .40 S&W.

The installation was easy with a minimum of work. The base of the new sight was slightly too thick, done that way to assure that it would fit any pistol with a small amount of work.
The LPA sight has a set screw to assure its locking into position after you have centered it on the slide.
What I got was a far better sight picture than the originals, It does NOT stick up way above the slide like the Browning adjustables and it uses the stock height front sight. Overall a nice improvement on the pistol, for a relatively small amount of money and work.

Millet used to have a sight similar to this, that would match up with the front sight on the (Hamden) Hi Standard Sport King pistols. I converted several back then, and you talk about obtaining accuracy, they had it. The reason I mention this, is the sights look really slim and weak to some, but they work as well as the heavier adjustable sights in my opinion.

I looked this sight up, but it shows no stock and no backorder. Brownell's or some others may have it, and $60 is not a bad price for this.

The only issue I have run into with the LPA sights is that there is very little vertical adjustment. Not an issue if your sights match up closely, but a potential issue I suppose. Other than that, they are very nice sights.
