Better Ruger Trigger?

I started this post in "The Art of the Rifle", but.

There were some good suggestions about Timney triggers, and , or changing the trigger return spring for a lighter pull, or snipping on the coils.

I checked Brownells and couldn't find the right spring. Any body know the name/sku#?

Thoughts, suggestions, ideas.

Thanks

It is for a M77MkII SS right hand .30-06 hunting rifle.

You can call Brownells at (800) 741-0015, and get technical advice free. Also, there are a lot of Wolfe springs in packs of standard lengths that you cut. Springs are hard so you need a small bolt cutter if you don't want to put a gap in the jaws of your regular diagonal cutters. There are tool that bend the last turn square to the spring axis and you can grind the end flat on a disk sander or with a Dremel tool and stone just by puting a dowel or straight wire or drill bit shank through the spring to keep it still while you grind the end flat.

You could ask Wolfe if they make what you want? (800) 545-0077.
