Best trade ever...

Guy at work came to me and asked if I had gotten rid of the Hi-Point carbine I bought for 60 bucks at a gun show last month, after informing him that I hadn't, he said he was sick of paying high ammo prices and offered to trade his S&W 65-3 4" heavy barrel for it..I explained that it wouldnt be fair on many levels and offered cash to go with it. He flatly refused and so the trade was made...shes a beauty.

I don't know alot about them..but I think I may keep this one. I am an auto guy, and dont own any other revolvers, so Im not sure yet...Either way..Was my best trade so far..

You did good by a long shot. They are fine weapons.
This is only the beginning for you now. I see more revolvers in your future.
Once you shoot that thing you'll be really hooked. Let us know how she shoots.

will do..I have owned a few revolvers in the past, but couldnt warm up to the wheelguns. Maybe this one will be different. we will see how she does..one thing, the trigger feels REALLY good..may have had some work done..from what I was told, this used to ride on the hip of a Tennessee state trooper in the late 80's.

pics...or the deal didn't happen:D (and a big congrats if it did)

so true when it comes to Smiths. Once you see what other models are out there you will skip car payments and dip into the kids' college funds for the right ones.

I'm confused. In the first part of the post you had already gotten rid of the Hi Point. Did you have two of them?
I saw that too, but I think it was just a typo. Looks like he fixed it now.
