Best Tactical Thigh-Rig Holster

I'm looking for a good tactical thigh-rig holster for my Browning Hi-Power. Any suggestions? The Bagmaster rig is priced cheap, but I don't want a cheap(ly) made rig.
Thanks for your help.

I have used the Eagle Industries http://www.eagleindustries.com SAS MK IV and MK III holsters for several years. They can be had either with a flap or without. They are probably a bit more expensive then the Bagmaster, but they are well made, almost indestructable and Eagle really stands behind their products. I have always purchased direct from Eagle as I live near St Louis, but I believe fellow TFL member Geri Weaver is also carrying Eagle products now.

The Illinois State Police Tactical Response Teams use Eagle Holsters if you are looking for a real world hard user.

Safari Land, Mad Dog (for MD’s see TacTec www.tactec.net or Arnistador http://www.streetpro.com as both are TFL members and MD dealers) My company makes a rig however, we are still several months backlogged on such items. Also I believe Blade-Tech has one. Off the top of my head that is all I know of for sure.

I've used the Safariland 3004/5 series for many years. It is a great rig, and extremely secure. The soft synthetic lining is a nice touch. The only issue I have ever had with it is that reholstering with one hand can be a tad slow due to the secondary retention, but it was my favorite thigh rig for a very long time.

On my must-buy-soon list is the MD GunGlove Thigh Rig. I haven't bought one for myself, but have played with the various ones that have come through our shop. Retention is excellent, presentation is FAST, and the 2" elastomer strap and buckles are MANLY. This is the best route if you are into Kydex, in my opinion.

Scott: What is your company, and where can I find out about your products? We are always on the hunt for the latest and greatest...

EZ, Jeff et. all:The Eagle SAS holster run $64.95 - $84.95 (Eagle List), depending on design, and the wait time is currently 4 weeks from time of order. Our prices are below list w/free US Shipping.

From a merchant view, Eagle has been excellent to work with. Quality is outstanding and the feedback I have received from "converted" customers has been very positive, to say the least.

Jeff - thanks for the mention.

Thanks for the great feedback everyone!

Geared Up! - thanks for the tip and link. It doesn't look like MD makes a tactical for the Browning HP :(, but the Eagle looks GOOD! Any feedback on the The SAS MK V ABN - has the extra strap with a Fastex buckle that goes over the grip.

On the contrary, MD *does* make a tac low ride for the Browning Belgian and Portugese Hi Power. We have them available for $114.95 riveted, and $124.95 bonded (GunGlove 2000.)

They are not cheap, but put one on and you will know the difference.

Arnistador -

Do you guys have a "will fit" or similar, or price list on your web site for different makes and models? I saw the MD knives, but no tactical holsters.

EZDrake,

Yes we have a section on the website. Click on GunGlove Holsters from the main product page.

Our prices need to be updated. All holsters are now $5 less. The new rivetless (bonded) GunGlove 2000 versions are $5 more than original price.

Let me know if you have any further questions. We are working on getting better pictures for all the models.
