Best sxs under $600

Anyone have opinions on the best sxs under $600?

Not much in that price range. The only thing I have seen is a Remington Spartan. It is a Russian made gun. The guy refinished the wood and it was a decent looking gun. He has shot it for a year and has had no problems.

HEY SPEAKING OF THE REMINGTON SPARTAN IT IS ACTUALY A "BAIKAL" RUSSIAN GUN THAT REMINGTON NOW IMPORTS, PUTS THEIR NAME ON IT, AND JACKS UP THE PRICE TAG CONSIDERABLY. THERE ARE STILL SOME BAIKAL GUNS AVAILABLE IN THE U.S. BECAUSE EUROPEAN AMERICAN ARMORY OR "EAA/BAIKAL" OUT OF FLORIDA USED TO SELL THEM ONLY A COUPLE YEARS BACK FOR AROUND $300.00. I BOUGHT ONE FROM A LOCAL GUNSHOP IN TACOMA WA IN 2005. I HAVE A BAIKAL IZH94 O/U SHOTGUN/RIFLE COMBO. IT IS A NICE GUN AND I LOVE SHOOTING IT. YOU MIGHT TRY THAT BEFORE YOU SPEND $600.00 ON THE SPARTAN GUN BECAUSE YOU WILL ONLY BE PAYING FOR THE REMINGTON NAME.

Around here you can get a Stoeger (made by Benelli) with 2 sets of barrels for just under $600.

The Stoeger sxs guns are not made by Benelli. They are made in Turkey.

Sorry, I guess more correctly it's owned or distributed by Benelli. I haven't shot one and I don't know anyone who has one, but they look pretty good.
