best subsonic .22lr ammo?

I've had great luck with Remington subsonic hollowpoints. Haven't tried them in a 10/22 but they shoot as well as target ammo in my 77/22.

Rifleer, there was a long thread about this recently in Art of The Rifle that was very informative. Do a search for Calibri(sp?).

I was amazed to find out that Winchester Wildcat is quite good. Cheap but accurate. Seems a little undersized so it fits in tights K17 chambers and extracts well from a MArlin 795.

i have a bunch of Remington SS

it failed to cycle my semi auto model 60 at the range the first time, so i gave it a couple of pumps of clp and cycled the action a few times. The next trip to the range it cycled fine

Coles carries the Aguila Colibri http://www.cole-distributing.com/

22 LR Colibri - 20 gr. Solid Point Lead Bullet.
- NO GUNPOWDER, Sounds as quiet as a air rifle!!!

You should try to hear the Aguila Colibri when fired in a suppressed pistol. You just hear the FP hit and the bullet hit the backstop.

More kudos for Rem's sub-sonic. Does evything quite well in both my 10/22s - but, about $15/brick around here = not exactly "cheap" but not too shabby compared to premium "target" .22LR.

Too, I've had really good results with CCI CBcaps. They're really short so don't work in LR mags but fine for revolvers or any single feeding straight into the chamber.
