Best slug accuracy question.

I'm searching for data.
Can any of the slug shooters here post information about sabot/bullet accuracy.
I would like specifics please.
Not "I once shot a golf ball at 200 yards with a Hornady SST".
Group sizes, at what distance, what load, and was the accuracy repeatable and consistant.
If you handload slugs I'd appreciate that data also.
My best performing slug load is my own load using the Hammerhead slug over 50 grains of Bluedot from my Ultra.
I get repeatable, consistant, accuracy in the form of five shots into one ragged hole at 75.
My 870 cantalever with scope gives me 6 shots into 1" c to c from Federal BRI 2 3/4" ammo.
Best I've obtained from any factory slug load.
The biggest .730 bullet I've fired was the 880 heat treat monster over about a coffee cup of XYZ powder for an average of 1146 f.p.s.
This T-rex load was fearsome on both ends.:eek:
 
Mossy 500 slug barrel.

I can shoot 3 inch groups all day with Remington slugs.

Either the cheap Slugger 2 3/4 or the solid copper 3 inch slugs.

I don't even have to readjust the sights :cool:
 
H+R ultra slug hunter in 12 gauge,1.5 groups all day long using 2.75 in lightfield hybred exp's at 100yds,smoothie mossberg 500 12 gauge,with remington slugs can shoot in 2 inches at 75yds pretty regularly.
 
I use a Rem 870 SP with the 23" heavey contour barrel w/cantiliever scope mount. It performs awesome with Lightfield 2 3/4" Hybred Express sabots. At 50 yds it consistently shoots 1 1/2" c - c all day long. I originally zeroed the shotgun 4 years ago and since then have not made a single scope adjustment, with the barrel/Leupold/Lightfield combination I use. The scope on it is Leupold VX-I 2x-7x X 33mm. I only have measured my groups at 50yds but fired out to 120 to learn the bullet drop. The Lightfield is extremely flat shooting and has required no hold-off to stay in a 8" target out to 120yds. My best group yet is less than 1" for a barely ragged 1 hole 3 shot group at 50yds. I highly recommend the 870's 23" heavey contour SP barrel and Lightfield sabots.
