Looking honest opinions on a sight. I have an FNX45 Tactical in FDE with a Silencerco Osprey 45 FDE can. Leaning towards a Trijicon RMR adjustable LED in FDE with the 3.25 MOA red dot reticle. Whats everyone else running?

Im VERY close to pulling the trigger on having my G19 slide cut for an RMR.
Im leaning towards the 6.5moa dot. I was playing with different dot sizes yesterday in my local Cabalas. At a laser range finder verified 99yards the dot perfectly centered an adult males chest. In looking thru one at different folks around the store from 10yds to the above 100yds. The larger dot (6.5moa) looked just right.

I thought the point of the Osprey was it rode low enough that specialized sights weren't necessary. Are the stock sights that low?
Honestly, I don't run special or higher sights on any of my pistols that wear cans. I just use the stock sights "through" the suppressor- yeah, I lose a touch of absolute accuracy, but the stabilizing effect of the suppressor hanging out front ends up actually enhancing overall accuracy.

I dont think its a sight height over the can he is working with. I think he just wants a reddot
I have "Suppresser sights" on my EDC G19. All my other hosts have standard height sights. I wont spend the money to put tall sights on any other pistols.
I also get just fine groups shooting standard sights and looking thru the can. My tall ones BARELY clear over the top of my TiRant 9s anyway. You have to really look to line up the itty bitty bit of sights that show over the top of the can.

Yes the fnx45t has raised nighf sights, and yes the osprey sits low enough that raised sights arent necessary. And yes it is because I want a reddot. But Trijicon makes so many different sights it's hard to choose.

Swung by cabelas today, closest one to me is 2 hours away. They had 1 pistol type holographic sight. I forget the brand name, but it wasn't top shelf. 200 bucks. Looked like a piece of junk. Wouldn't give 30 for it. Lol. Anyone use any RMR's?
