So I have a CZ-75BD, and I'm tired of buying overpriced ammo at the local shops. As people seem to think highly of S&B's quality, and CZ themselves uses S&B for factory testing, I thought I would invest in a couple thousand rounds of S&B.

Do any of you know of the lowest online price for large quantities of S&B? Ideally I'd like to pay under $210 with shipping for 2000 rds.

Check out Natchez's prices, they are very competitive, but I've never bought more than 500 at a time.
I DO like S&B though, shoot it all the time in my CZ and in my Springfield (.45), very reliable.

Actually, I just got some 9mm S&B from Natchez at $5.52 / box... works out to exactly $210 for 2,000, unshipped.

If you call them rather than use the web they may give you a good break on shipping given the qty...

I tried S&B in my CZ85C, and it shoots OK. But the Winchester Value Pack available at WalMart ($10.96 for 100 rounds) shoots better and cleaner. The Manchester, NH WalMart guy told me they go through 2,500 rounds of 9mm a week at that one store alone.

I've found MagTech to shoot a little more accurately then Winchester in .45.

Just noticed this website www.outdoor-source.com/

Has anyone done business with them? They have S&B listed on the bottom of page.

Natchez website has S&B listed at $4.99 per 50 now in the ammo section with 20 box purchase ----------Chainsaw

Outdoor-Source are good folks to deal with.

I live just up the road from Dothan. I called to order one day, questioned shipping and they offered to meet me out on the four lane with a purchase (they were coming back from their source the next day). Not many folks would do that. Also buy quite a bit from them at gun shows. Ther're real fine folks. Try them, don't think that you can go wrong dealing with them.

Ditto on Walley World. Just picked up two more boxes today. Every time I go in I check on the status, if they got it I get it. Have 8 boxes sitting in my ammo can on standby.

Chainsaw's price seems mighty fine! I used to buy 9mm PMP from Century Intl. for $109.00/1,000 delivered....they have not had any for a while.
For quick ammo, the Wally-Wld idea is great, but you must figure 5-8% for sales tax.
I generally hit the gun shows on the last day/last couple hours for the best prices on 9mm ammo...
The dealers HATE to carry that stuff out! I generally do my best late in the show...and generally, there is a large supply of 9mm at any show so you can be pretty sure there will be some available to buy!
