Best price on new S.A. M1A Loaded?

I have a hankering for a new M1A rifle. I'm thinking walnut-stocked loaded model. It just came over me.

Is the blued barrel more accurate? more durable?

Where can I get the best price for one shipped to my FFL?

I found a place where I live that had the Standard for $1180 and the loaded on sale for $1250 or so. The Loaded had to be ordered and hell, I could never shoot the weapon to what it is good for.
I found a deal on a NIB Standard, Walnut and fiberglass stock, 4x16x40MM scope and mount, 5 20 round mags, cleaning kit and 2 slings for $1400.
That should get me out to at least 500 yards and I did it cheap.
Next is my little AR toy.

Ledbetter.....Robs is a deal.....I'd buy his.....
The Loaded package guns typically shoot in the 2-3" @ 100 yards range.....a few better...most NOT.
The N M models, will go under 1" @ 100 with 5 rounds USUALLY...IF you can hold it.
Just the NM rifle alone, runs around $1,800.00....and with all the goodies he has posted...makes for a sweet deal.
IMHO...of course.

Springfiels Armory's accuracy claims are for 2- 2 1/2"'s @ 100 for these rifles, standard specs are for standard grades are 3"'s plus.......
As I said the USUAL accuracy one can expect is within these ranges............

The best price I have found for a walnut-stocked Springfield Armory M1A "Loaded Standard" with carbon steel NM Air-Gauged barrel is $1299, $85 more for stainless.

Is that a good price?

I must have gotten lucky too !!!

My loaded will shoot 3/4" 5 shot groups at a 100 yrds if I do my part with Gold Medal Match 168grs. With IMI match surplus ammo groups open up to to a little under 2". I'm glad I bought mine when I did, when you still got the 20 rnd mags with it. Can't wait to see what it will do at 500 yrds after I get a scope on it.
 
I got my standard M1A new for $1,011.00

That was the best deal I found for a new one.

Loaded version will add about $150 to $200 or so.

BUT, I ran across a web ad posted on Sunday the 18th for an unfired rifle, same model plus the Scott Duff M-14 book plus the ARMS scope mount for $1300. About six hours drive away. I'm trying to work out a deal to buy the rifle this Saturday. Wish me luck.
