I'm in the market for a P99 OD,and have found several in town.(Indy) but I refuse to pay this $650 price for it.Any info would be appreciated.I've been told these sports stores pay as low as $400 for it only to turn around and mark it up to $650.Thanks again.

I paid $605 for mine from my dealer back in November. That included tax and the backround check fee in MD ($10 extra). I got the Military Green Frame in 9mm. FWIW, in MD I see them in stores for $650-$735. My dealer is just a home-based FFL. Good luck.

You should be able to find them for $550 to $575. I'd keep checking or find an FFL that would bring one in for you. Like Herr Walther said, check Gunsamerica.com and other auction boards.

Also try....

CDNN Investments 1-800-588-9500. They often have great deals on handguns and accessories. Shipping is only $10.

For example, I went to my local gun shop and he wanted to charge me $600 for a pistol I was looking at. CDNN had the same set up for $370 + shipping .... saved over $200. Do a search and you'll see what others have to say about them.

Jspy: Apparently......

CDNN doesn't care who they sell to as long as WHO THEY SHIP TO has an FFL license. I called CDNN, paid for the pistol via credit card, and they shipped it to a dealer in my area. Fortunately for me CDNN already had my dealer's FFL license on file (if not your dealer can just send it to them). My dealer then charges me a transfer fee (in my case an unbelievable $10 -- it's usually $20-25, sometimes 10% of the price). Of course, they then do the FBI background check and 10 minutes later I get the gun. Easy........ I'm sure some dealers won't let you do this because they make no money, but just call around and find one that does.

Well, don't use me as rule of thumb. I got my P99 .40 for $463 NIB. I don't know how. I paid $591 for my 9mm P99, which is about average I think. However, they want $808 for a P5 standard. I went in the other day, and all their P99s were now up over $600, $629 I think. Guess I was just in the right place at the right time for my .40.

I paid $627 for my P88c NIB that only had one mag in the same shop. Wonder what happened to the other? They seem to be all over the place with their pricing. Sure makes you keep your eyes open though.
