Anyone know which one is best? The "wallet" style holsters that slide in your right front pants pocket, for a snub nose revolver.

Some have the non slide material, some have the small hook so it doesnt slide out, some expose various amounts of the trigger guard.

I've read a good review on the RKBA, and saw a couple nice ones on ebay. I suppose if I could try each of them, I'd know in a few minutes which one works best, but hard to tell from just pictures, ya know.

Has anyone tried enough of them to know which one functions best for pants pocket? Any info/suggestions greatly appreciated.

Mika's pocket holsters are both inexpensive and of high quality.

I have several, both front pocket and hip pocket. For an S&W J frame and a Seecamp. Been using them for several years now daily, and I mean daily. All day, and most of the night, every day.
Robert Mika is a retired cop that produces holsters that are functional and useful. Not very pretty, but they WORK! No fancy names, no advertising, just good product.

+1 on the Mika. Not pretty but very functional. But be prepared to wait to get one, as he is usually backed up on orders.

I own 3 pocket holsters, Galco, DeSantis, and Blackhawk. Galco is horsehide, the others are nylon/polymer. For pants/jacket pocket carry I prefer the DeSantis.

It has a stickier external surface, that literally sticks to the cloth liner of my pockets. Drawing a J-frame from it is easy, as it does not slide around inside my pockets. I cannot say the same about the other two. If I were going to buy another one, it would be another DeSantis.

FWIW.

I'll throw my vote to the Mika.

Mr. Mika is a heck of a nice guy and he makes a great product. I've been using one of his round cut holsters for my J-Frame for years in my front pocket. I just ordered one for my "Baby Glock".
