Best Magazine

Whats the best after market 8 or 10 round magazine for a Springfirld 1911-A1 loaded? Wanted to ask you guys first befor I waste my money on a mag that dont feed or work well.

Pretty much all the name brand mags are good, Wilson, Chip McCormick, Mec-Gar, Metal-form, Ed Brown. Prices range from 15.00 to 30.00 depending on which ones you buy.

I personaly use the McCormick, Metal-form, and Mec-gar mags.

Wilson and Chip McCormick, I have had zero problems with

The Wilson 7 round magazine works 100% for me.

I would stay away from the 8 round magazines.

I prefer Mag Pack.

Many have good results with Wilson, McCormick, Ed Brown, Mec-Gar.

I use wilson 8 and 7 rounders for my SA loaded and have never had a jam, failure to lock the slide on an empty magazine and have fed every cartridge reliably and smoothly. Any of the top manufacturers should be fine, but I shall continue to use only wilsons as I see no reason to change a good thing.

I use the 8 round Wilson and 10 round McCormick, I have had no problems with either. I use the Wilsons for most things but the 10 round McCormicks are good for home defense.

I like and use the Chip Mc Cormicks. Seem to be the highest quality and most reasonably priced with the rubber bumpers...
