Best lube?

For lubing the bolt lugs, etc., use a heavy grease - The stuff that Shooters' Choice sells in the syringes works okay.

For the internals of the bolt, just a light spray of a very light oil is probably more than enough.

I've been using Butch's oil on my 700 bolt for a while now. Makes it slick as can be. I have also used the Sinclair bolt grease (orange stuff in the syringe) and liked that too.

Mil-Comm Products TW-25B is good enough for US Special Forces, Rangers and Seals, and 18 firearm manufacturers, so it's good enough for me.

Bob Young at Gunsite Academy swears by it.

Dillon Precision aka Blue Press catalog sells it now.
