Best Holster for concealed carry?

I have a Kahr PM9 and am looking for the best holster to use for concealed carry. Here are my criteria, the more of these I can get, the better:
1. OWB is first choice, I like it between the belt and my pants.
2. IWB is second choice
3. Thin, small profile
4. High ride preferred so shirt can cover it
5. Hook on or snap on
6. Around $50.00

Any advice?

IWB is most concealable.

For your price range, Blade Tech's IWB's run around $55, and will out last any leather holster. If you sweat, they will also protect your gun much better and are easier on your skin, should they meet bare flesh.

I like the galco belt slide or the done hume 720 but they are both belt holsters. I use these with a Bersa .380 and a Taurus 911 and with a regular T- Shirt pulled out, they ride high and conceal judt fine. Also try the vega holsters. they work awesome too.

Look at Galco or Bianchi. They both have a couple of OWB models that will work for you. Check around on the net and you'll find better prices than the manufactors websites.

Well I own a PM40 and I'm going to ignore your price range. A fine $700 pistol deserves better.

My best concealment holster is a Milt Sparks VM2 that I had made for my PM40. Sparks gets $110 and the wait is 26 weeks - if you can get on their waiting list.

My second choice would be a Comp-Tac Minotaur MTAC hybrid kydex/leather holster. Very comfortable even with larger pistols. $80 with a 2 week lead time. A lower cost alternative are Crossbreed Holster's products.

I've also used High Noon Holster's generic Bare Assent and it's pretty good for a $25 off-the-rack generic.

Congrats on an excellent choice for concealed carry.

In the winter, I carry my PM9 in a Galco kydex paddle holster. Covers easily with just a shirt or sweater, can use it strong side or crossdraw, and it was $30 or so. In the summer, when t-shirts and shorts are about all I can stand here in Texas, I use a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster. I have a few others; it's the best.

Retired Major,

I've since upgraded to a Milt Sparks VersaMax II, but my first holster was pretty darn good, and fits the criteria you're looking for.

I have their Bare Asset IWB holster. Thin, easy, inexpensive, belt loop hook that stays where you put it, especially with a smaller pistol like your Kahr. They also make OWB holsters, but I can't comment on those since I only have their IWB.

For an OWB, I also have a Don Hume that I initially bought for my Taurus PT24/7 as an IDPA holster. It's a good, strong holster, though I don't use it for concealed carry as I prefer IWB.

Hope that helps.

I learned the hard way that a good holster is just as important as a good gun. I have 2 Milt Sparks VM2 holsters that are the best means of Concealed Carry for me.

CCW holster

I have been shooting for 48 years, now.
I choose the Bianchi #5 holster.
They retail for a little over $50 but you can find them on:
www.ebay.com
Bianchi Holsters
Cheaper than that.
