Best gun case under $60?

Hello everyone, looking to purchase a gun case (preferably hard shell), for under or around the price range of $60. I'm not really familiar with what is available on the market and was hoping to get some advice from all of you. I'm looking for the best money can buy, want something rugged and dependable over something fancy. Thanks.
 
I dont have any nice hard cases. Mine are all cheap. And they have worked well for me.

Only thing I can really recommend is that you get one of those silicone treated Gun socks to put over your shotgun. It will protect it better from rust, and scratches. It will also protect it from the foam inside whatever hard case you buy. I've heard stories of the foam leaving permanent markings on rifles that sit in their case for a while.

If you can buy something in person, you can check it out for quality yourself. if you get it online, try to find some reviews of the product your interested in before you buy it. Good luck:)

Thanks mellow_c, yea I'm going to look into one of those silicone treated socks most definitely. I think I might just got with a nicer soft case...I'm not sure. Those Pelican cases are sure nice but I don't have the money to spend on one of those.

I love my 870 Police! I actually just picked it up last week, love it already.
 
The pelican cases are great, cant really get a better case than that. Although, a $150+ case for a $300 gun is a bit of a stretch for me. these shotguns are pretty tough, and any case will do so long as your not throwing it around and hitting it hard on stuff.
