Best Detachable Scope Mounts?

Who makes the best Detachable scope mounts for a hard kicking gun like a 375HH Mag? I am talking about a mount that returns to zero everytime. MY rifle is a Remington Classic in 375HH Mag. I am debating on a good detachable or just going with the duel dovetail system by leupold and forgetting the iron sights altogether. I have been using a Redfield Junior on it but I do not think it is as strong as I would like on that gun. What about the Tally? has anyone had any dealings with it?

Nevada,

You have just mentioned one advantage of teh Rem 700 in 375 over a Model 70, that is, you can't get dual dovetails for teh Model 70.

I have used the Leupold QD very successfully. By that , I mean that the rifle delivered its full accuracy with these mounts. How well they return to zero varies aboit on individual mounts and of course lapping the rings always helps in this regard.

I just obtained a few sets of the Leupold Steel cross pin Weaver type mounts. Have not yet used them but I expect (and hope)them to be the equal of anything. I am expecting these to be as good as dual dovetails but allow me to rapidy remove a scope for different scope testing.

On HuntAmerica, a lot biger bore shooters seem to reagrd the Talley mounts a perfect. I have never seen them in Australia.
