Best DA/SA Small, Light .45?

I have the Patriot .45 but wonder if there is a good equivalent that is double action/single action rather than double action only. Most small pistols are DAO. People seem to think that the Smith and Wesson CS45 (Chiefs Special in .45) isn't very well designed. The Taurus Millennium P145 is DAO and seems to have a bad trigger. Glocks are DAO of a special type. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Also consider the HK USP Compact. Personally, I prefer SA first, DAO or striker fired second, and don't like DA/SA at all. But that's just my religion...

I have a S&W 457 and like it quite a bit. It's been perfectly reliable for me. Flat, comfortable to carry and shoot. It is one of S&W's economy models but I like that flat black finish.
