: Best CZ Pistol?
I'm looking for an inexpensive pistol on the small side to carry in my Jeep (it's legal in my state). I've seen these pistols at shows etc. Are they well made? Are they reliable? What's the best model, or models to stay away from? Thanks in advance!

I just bought a CZ85 and have about 700 rounds through it. I just love it. It is very accurate and has only had one mis-feed. I put on some Hogue wrap around grips on it, since I didn't like the plastic grips. I highly recommend it.

GB, the CZ line of pistols is highly thought of, and there have been many discussions to this point on this forum. To the best of my knowledge, all the models are good guns.

I hope to pick up a CZ75B in .40 cal. early next year.

It depends on how you define inexpensive. If you want a CZ75B, best deal right now is from Burns Bros., $322 with one preban and one postban delivered to your FFL. If you want something less expensive you can get a Bulgarian Makarov from them for $122.
