Best color for front sight?

I know this isn't as exciting as the endless AR vs. AK debate. Be thankfull if you can own either from a person living in captivity in occupied Kali...

What are the pro's and con's of various colors for the front sights on a rifle. Of course, black is common on a military rifle. However, you do see red and white bead style sights. Which is best?

Orange is nice. But you can't beat the classic black on most military rifles.

A true gold, not brass or other yellow metal, dot front sight is a wonder. They show up in any light and never are lost in the background. Lined up with a nice williams peep or a U notch.

I AM COLOR BLIND TO PASTELS
Red is suppose to be the best front sight color but, YELLOW is my color. I have had it put on several sights. I also, to Wal-Mart or a local drugstore and buy yellow FINGER NAIL POLISH and paint the front sight. Pick your color and go buy
it inFINGER NAIL POLISH for $1 ot $5 a bottle.
