Well, for rifles and some semi-auto pistols now, MagnetoSpeed. The V3 has a special attachment that allows it to work in semi-auto pistols. You don't need anything special, don't even have to go down range to set it up
Check out your lighting before you buy a light sensing chrono. Fluorescent lighting can play heck with some of them as the light flickers at the AC frequency of 60 Hz.
I have the CED M2 and ordered the Infrared Light Set for it to work.
Too bad you can't wait for the Labradar unit. It is supposed to be able to chrono you loads out to 100 yds depending on the bullet style.
I tell us what. I literally take mine every range session. I took the MV I got from mine, plugged it into my Ballistic AE app, and I didn't have to true any data. It's dead on.
