Best Christmas Present Ever

A couple of months ago my nephew gave me a set of 45º offset iron sights for my M4. They didn't work out with the rail setup on his gun, so they ended up on mine. Like a lot of first-time AR-15 owners, I've ended up with a whole assortment of (mostly cheap) stuff hung off the rails. When I added the side-mounted iron sights, I jokingly told my nephew all I was missing was the cup holder and the gun would be complete.

Fast forward to Christmas morning, and I unwrapped the present from my nephew to find a beautifully crafted rail mounted sports bottle holder. Not being one to leave well enough alone (and to get a good laugh out of my friends and family), I decided to turn it up to 11 and take the gun to a whole new level.

We're possibly looking at the dawn of a new era in firearms. The terms "assault" and "tactical" have become politically charged buzzwords, and many are calling for changes. Well, I think I've found the perfect change. It's no longer an "assault" style rifle. I present...the Sport Utility Carbine:

The SUC comes fully equipped with scope, iron sights, laser, flashlight, horn, rear-view mirror, and sports bottle holder. This baby's ready for some serious plinking!

I know I can safely say I'm the only guy on my block with a weapon that's this well-equipped. What a beauty!

This is gonna be a Happy New Year indeed!

:D:D:D Very funny.

Usually those "scary black assault rifles of death and destruction" makes me pee myself on sight. But after this a Sport Utility Rifle sounds like a mighty fine choice.

My only fear is that someone will misuse this and start using that holder for Monster Energy Drinks. It's all downhill from there....

:D

Ha! That is awesome, I think you just posted a picture that will be alive on the internet for many years on many different websites, and even a few meme's. :)

Sadly, that's not a bad idea. I take my rifle with me on the long walks out to 200+ yards so it's not unattended.... you get thirsty out there man!

Fortunately for him, Red Bull does not fit in there .....

Glad you guys enjoyed the pics. :D Backup lights and truck nuts? Hmmm...might be just the thing for the SUC Mk II. (We're saving the air bags for the SUC Esprit.) :p
