Best choice of Wolff replacement springs for an Polish P-64?

Just ordered a Polish P-64 and intend to order a complete set of Wolff replacement springs. Of those listed below, which would make the best choice?

Hammer Spring Ratings: Reduced Power...: 17, 18, 19 & 20 Lb.

RECOIL SPRINGS are available with load-rated specifications. Each load-rated recoil spring package includes an extra power firing pin spring.
Reduced Power...: None Available
Factory Standard.: 18 Lb.
Extra Power.........: 20 & 22 Lb.

Since the P-64 uses a blowback design, it is the force of the fired case that drives the action. Consequently, the recoil from the fired case drives back both the recoil and hammer springs. If I reduce the hammer spring weight, I then need to increase the recoil spring weight, correct?

So I comes down to what is the best combination of recoil and hammer spring weights?
 
Buy the Hammer Spring Pak and the Recoil Calibration Pak get all or 'em. The whole thing will depend on what ammo you use.
 
I've owned 2 P-64s. Both did very well with the extra power recoil springs. It tamed a little of the "snap" from the slide bottoming out. As to the main spring, the first one was perfect with the 18lb spring. With the 2nd one, the 18lb was still a little too stiff so I went down to the 17lb spring.

However, just be aware that the main spring also holds the magazine latch so if it is too week your mag will not stay in properly.
 
22lb recoil spring worked very well. The only time it didn't work well was when I bought some remanufactured ammo at a gun show. It wasn't quite as "stout" as factory loads. Even then, it shot just fine - it just didn't lock open the slide after the last round was fired.
 
Since you appear to be new to the P-64, let me offer you one piece of very valuable advise. Don't attempt to secure that grip screw by tightening it down hard. You WILL break the plastic grip panel. Use a drop of loktite or fingernail polish and tighten it just snug.
