Of the FM High Power (Argentina), FEG (Hungary), Arcus (Bulgaria) and Kareen (?) Mark I and Mark II, which is the best?

I suppose that "best" can be defined in two different ways:

1. Similarity or closeness to the original OR
2. Instrinsic merits (ergonomics, reliability, durability, etc. etc.).

I'd vote for the Argentine, which was made under FN license and supervision. But why buy a clone when the real thing is available? You get what you pay for.

I have an FEG. The "finish" (tool marks etc) is not as good as a browning... but it shoots VERY accurately.

Of course we'd all love an FN from Herstal Belgium, but for those on a budget the FEG is a good buy.

Also take a look at the hi-power copy made by Mauser, it was available in 9mm AND .30 mauser (7.62 tokarev)
