Best brand ammo for 17HMR?

Pick your poison. I think I remember hearing that Hornady manufactures most of the .17HMR ammo and just packages it as whatever MFG it is that ordered it...

That being said, Hornady packaged ammo is the most accurate out of my gun...

Ive shot a lot of CCI v-max I like It. Which is probably made by Hornady if ^^ hes right?

Pretty sure it is all made by CCI.

I'm shooting hornadys in my ruger. It works so well togerther i've never used anything else. I shoot all small calibers and the 17hmr is my favorite. Smokey 63*

As of about 6 months ago (last time I saw a note on the subject) there is exactly one .17HMR production line in the U.S., and CCI is it. Production runs are to the specifications of the brand ordering it. So far, I've had my best results with CCI and Federal branded rounds.

Appears I was mistaken on the MFG, maybe it's that they all use Hornady bullets...
