Best bang/accuracy for $$ in .308 semi (and not M1 or M14?)

Garand in .308?

There is the Garand in .308 that would be a nice add on to a M1A. Next to mind comes the AR-10 family, but that is a little pricey. I know many are going to suggest a DSA FAL. There are many on here who swear by DSA FALs. I would just be content with an M1A personally. I kept my M1A and bought a Remington 700 VS in .308. Rather than have to semi's in .308, I decided to get a nice accurate bolt gun to compliment the M1A. Good luck.

L1A1 with an Imbel receiver or a CETME will get you where you want to go between $400-$600.

If you spend around $300 more, you can get a little better in a DSA Austrian FAL or a closer HK91 clone. Little better quality and accuracy, though $300 more quality/accuracy, dunno.

I really like the DSA FALs.

Not to sound like a dummy here, but since he already has an M1 and an M14, why is he out shopping? He can't get any better than he already has!

In all seriousness, if I owned either or both of those two then I'd be looking for a good bolt gun or something in .223 instead.

This one takes FAL mags and come with either a 24 or 16 inch barrel.
