As for comparing Sig's to Glock's; there's enough opinions
that we could fill volumes of book's, for use in a public
library.
Both are extremely fine weapon's; well made
and stone cold reliable.
The Glock has a composite
frame; whereas the Sig "Classic" P series has an
aluminum frame. Glock's have a "Safe Action" firing
system; as opposed to Sig's DA/SA trigger. Both
are fairly light weight, and comfortable for all day
carry piece's. Glock wins the durability award with
its "Tennifer" process. Sig takes home the prize
in the accuracy department.
Both are quality
made weapon's; therefore a bit expensive. Its
a choice that each individual user must answer
for themselve's; "which is better"? My answer
is, for me Glock's work good; Sig's work great,
and I've owned P220's, a P226, a P228, and a
P229. My current CCW piece is a West German
manufactured and assembled P220 in .45 ACP.
My favorite ammo is Federal's 230 grain Hydra
Shok JHP's.
