I'd like to gather some opinions on 6 shot snubbies for concealed carry. I'd really like to be able to put a set of Crimsontrace Laser Grips on it. I'm having a difficult time finding something that meets my my criteria...concealable, .357 or .38, 6 rounds and Laser Grips. Thank you all very much in advance!

Taurus has a 605 model. However, it's only 5 shot and I don't know about the grips. It's a dandy gun though and it works great with an Uncle Mike's Sidekick #36!

There are a number of 2", 2 1/2" & 3", 6 shot, round butt S&W guns that would fit your criteria:

2" 38SPL fixed sights: Model 10 (blue), model 64 (SS)
2 1/2" 357, adj. sights: Model 19 (blue), model 66 (SS)
3" 357, fixed sights: Model 13 (blue), model 65 (SS)

Additionally, a 2 1/2" Model 686 (SS, adj. sights) would work if you don't mind a slightly bigger gun, and there are some 3" round butt Model 10's around that, while not common, would certainly work. There was even a 2 1/2" Model 586 (same size as the 686, adj. sight, blue) but these are rather rare and somewhat sought after by collectors.

FWIW, I'd go for the 2" M10/M64.

Crimson Trace lists a laser grips for these guns as long as the gun is a round butt version. (some snubby M10's were squuare butt).

a 2", 2 1/2", or 3" K frame would start my list. A Ruger SP101 is certainly a viable choice as well. All have laser grips available for them.

I prefer square butt revolvers myself.

Probably the best 2.5" barrel .357 magnum ever made is Colt's
Python; but finding one for sale might be a big problem. And if you do,
expect to pay a premium price for one in LNIB condition.

The 2.5" barrel S&W model 66 or 686 will serve you well at a fraction
of the cost of a Python. The 66 is Smith's K-frame (target sighted)
.357; with the latter being the L-frame with target sights.

OTOH, you would do well to find a Ruger 2.75" barrel Security-Six.
These are often found LNIB, priced in the low to mid $200's. If you
desire something a bit different, try a Ruger SP-101 in .357 magnum.
The come with the standard hammer, or a spurless hammer model
can be had. SP-101's NIB are currently price at $339.88 in my neck
of the woods.

Also, for a around the $400 dollar mark, you can find a NIB Smith
& Wesson model 60 in .357 magnum.

.38's vary in price and quality. Some are not worth the effort
it took to produce them; others are OK, and some are great. I will
only discuss the ones here that I feel are worthy of mention:

a) any Smith J-frame .38 caliber revolver. This includes old
models 36, 37, 38, 40, 42, 49, and 60; as well as the new stuff.

b) Colt's D-frame .38 caliber revolver. The Detective Special, the
Cobra, and the Agent models.

c) any Ruger* DA .38 caliber revolver.

*FootNote: FWIW, all Ruger's are proof tested with loads that run
30% above normal.

Best Wishes,
