Best .357 SIG pistol?

If you are ready to buy a new .357 SIG pistol, which one? Should you buy the original SIG? the Glock? ...?

I bought the Sig because it seemed to handle the recoil a little bit better and I got a great deal on it.

The Glock 31 is mighty nice. But I like the .357 SIG so much I will probably get an additional gun in this caliber. Maybe a 1911...

thequickad;HK is now making a USP compact in 357 sig.My first choice would be the Glock 31 but I am a Glock freak.You can not go wrong with an HK.

IMO the SIG 229. The H&K USPC in .357 is a nice gun, but I have not had the opportunity to fire one.

P229 is the only way to go! This is one sweet firearm. You'll like it a lot better than the Glock.

My buddy has a 229 in .357 Sig.

I have a Glock 32.

Everyone that shoots them agrees that the Sig has WAY more muzzle flip due to the high bore axis.
I would definitly go with the Glock.
The .357 Glock is the best one yet with the fully supported chamber, superb accuracy etc.

I have not fired one of these, but I have handled it and fired other USPs. It is a nice gun IMO.

I love the 357 sig and I have 4 pistols chambered for it an the glock 31 is my favorate of the bunch as an all around fighting handgun. My sig 239 is my faviorate for summer time off duty carry. My sig 229 sport is my fariorate plinker. and my standard 229 used to be my favorate for fighting until I got the 31. I would like to by an HK and beretta's new cougar that is supposed to be released in 357 sig. I just wish I could get a 357 sig barrel for my walther p99.

I have a Glock G31C and it is very accurate and controllable. I haven't shot an uncompensated G31 so I can't say whether or not the comp is worth the bucks, but I can say that the recoil is *VERY* manageable in my comped pistol. It's easier to shoot than my G22 in .40 "LIBERTY".

I also have a G33 ankle/off duty concealed carry pistol. The recoil is very manageable, but definitely sharper than the "baby 40" that I used to have. To quote Daddycat after shooting it the other day, "It's zippy.".

Now I want a G32C for off duty/concealed carry. I am also going to order a .357SIG barrel for my P229.
