Bersa Thunder 9 ?

Bersa is well known for its 380 acp, but I discovered that it makes a 9mm in its country of origen (Argentina?). Does anyone know if the Bersa Thunder 9 is available in the USA?

Mozart, the Bersa Thunder 9 was only imported to the USA from 1993-1995.

is still quoting them as being available NIB for $303.60, his site is updated twice per month but admittedly they show a current stock level of zero, e-mail them to confirm.

Got one about a year after they came out. essentially a copy of the Walther P-88 except it is fully ambidextrous. It isn't nearly as tight and refined. Don't know if parts interchange as I never even considered trying.

For that price you can buy a NIB Kahr E9 and not have to worry about Bersa going out of business or reforming in another country or the parts shortage.
