Bersa pro thunder 40 slide catch

I have a bersa pro thunder 40 and when shooting the slide often catches on the slide catch and I have to release it in order to load next round. Solutions?

I looked at my Bersa .45, with an eye to your problem.

Any chance your thumb is riding high? if no, I'd contact a Bersa service center.
