Bersa - Can Trigger Be Improved?

Tonight I had an opportunity to handle one of the new Bersa .380's. It felt so much better than the Glock 19 and 26 I was looking at that I thought I might buy one instead.

However, although the Bersa felt great in my hand, it's trigger pulls were LOUSY.

Somebody PLEASE tell me that they can be tuned ...

C'mon now guys ... I know a bunch of you own Bersas - so haven't you ever thought of improving the trigger?

About 500 rounds apiece has tuned up my BERSA triggers just fine. TM

You must mean the DA pull, right? The one I tried had a nice SA pull. It was used, though, so...

No it is a brand new one, and both the DA and SA were unacceptably heavy. I wouldn't care so much if the SA were adequate.

Thanks for the input Terry! I've sure read a lot of your articles over the years, and am just wondering what you think of your Bersas - good enough for personal defense? How accurate are they?
