Bersa .380

Has anyone tried the Bersa or FEG .380 pistols? The Bersa I'm looking into is the Series 95, similar to the PPK/S and about the same size as a SIG P232. I have a good .40 cal and a Kel-tec 32. I've just always wanted a James Bond gun and don't want to pay for a Walther that might not like JHP ammo. Any comments?

I have a Series 95 in the nickle finish (3 years). I chose it over the walther because it is a better gun, not because of the cheaper price.

Bersa may be inexpensive, but it is the better gun IMO.

You will not be sorry. If you want mor detailed info let me know.

Bersa makes a good gun at a good price.

I've owned several over the years and still have on in .22LR (model 223DA) that is accurate, attractive, and easy on the wallet! :D

Hello. I do not currently own a Bersa, but the two I did own were reliable and reasonably accurate. They were very fine guns for the money. I currently have a little FEG .380, the PP version, and it feeds
fine and is reliable. I think the Bersa is the nicer of the two. Both are shooters. Best.

I've owned both the Bersa and a FEG in 9Mak. Both were nice guns, but if I were going to choose between the two I'd go with the Bersa.

Personally I have no experience with the Bersa .380s, but I have heard excellent things about them in other on-line forums. They also look cool as hell, kind of like something James Bond would carry :D

Best,

I currently have a Bersa .380.. I bought it used for a good price. I seem to think it is a good gun and is reliable. I have had no problems with it. This is the older Md#83 though. If you have your eye on one and you like it go for it. :)

Happy Shooting :)

Thanks, guys! I know I don't post much, but when I do everyone is very helpful. I don't care what anyone says, you're a good group. (Not that anyone has said anything....) I was thinking that the Bersa was a quality gun just from examining it. I've never seen so many positive posts in the same place at once.

I own the Sereis 95 pistol. I bought it for $189 brand spankin' new. Has a very nice satin nickel finish, slide to frame fit is tight, and it just feels great in the hand. At 7 yds. I can make one ragged hole in the center of the target. It is an excellent buy.

Dear Bdog

I own two different Bersa pistols. One is an older, 13 round clip model. The other is a Thunder .380. They are both really nice pistols, regardless of the money. I went shopping for a small pistol with no budget in mind, just quality and fit. The Walther, which I really expected to purchase, was just too small in my hand and didn't "feel" right. When I picked up the Bersa, it felt much more comfortable and balanced. Then I compared the price: 1/2 of the Walther, well, I was sold. It shoots great and is very reliable. My 17 yr old daughter loves to shoot it, too. AND, it shoots .380 ammo which is widely available. It is hands-down more practical than a Markarov for this reason. It is also easy to carry inside my waistband in a small holster even though I'm not a thin guy. It is easy to carry racked with one in the chamber because the safety deactivates the trigger and hammer. Just flip the safety and pull a DA first round. SA after that. So it is a safe carry pistol, too. All in all, my choice.

I got a Bersa Super Thunder 15 rounds. Great shooter. I prefer this over PPK because its a lot cheaper when I bought it. No regrets. Only snag is I lost my rear sight when I was practicing my draw. Hope this help.
