Beretta92FS; what to feed?

Ok. I've owned my Beretta 92FS for close to a month now. I have fed close to 2k of my own hand loads through it. All of my own loads are under 34,000psi, and now I want to experiment a little. I can never seem to get a straight answer on whether or not I should try shooting +p and/or +p+, some claim this will actually wear/crack(?!?) the frame/slide. Now I do NOT want a broken gun on my hands, just a straight answer; IS IT OK TO SHOOT +P+ THROUGH MY BERETTA?

Yes it is okay...in moderation. If you wish to shoot +p or +p+ often, you should invest in a new recoil spring that is about 2 pounds heavier than stock. This will lessen the impact on the slide/frame.

I'd probably avoid any extended shooting with the +p+ stuff, but here's something to consider; The 92FS is essentially the same gun as the US Military M9. The military testing was done with standard NATO 9mm loads and the M9 obviously passed. The NATO 9mm load is much closer to a commercial 9mm+p than it is to a standard commercial 9mm. You will wear out the locking block slightly faster with the increased pressure loads, but unless you shoot A LOT, this shouldn't be a very big difference.
